Maintenance
General Maintenance
Wipe down regularly: Use a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and dirt.
Avoid overexposure to water: Leather is not waterproof. If it gets wet, pat dry with a soft cloth and air dry away from heat.
Hang it properly: Use a wide, padded hanger to maintain its shape.
Conditioning
Apply leather conditioner every 3–6 months to keep it supple and prevent drying/cracking.
Use a product specifically made for leather jackets, and test it on a small area first.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place
Avoid plastic garment bags; use breathable fabric covers instead.
Cleaning
For stains, use a leather cleaner or take it to a professional leather cleaner.
Never machine wash or dry clean regular leather.
Avoid
Direct sunlight for extended periods (can fade or dry out the leather).
Harsh chemicals, alcohol, or abrasive cleaners.
Removing Odors
Hang in fresh air, out of direct sunlight.
Lining Care
Clean the interior lining with a damp cloth and mild soap, or spot-treat as needed.
If the lining is stained or has a smell, professional cleaning is advised.
